About Us
3-B Detention & Treatment Center is a county owned and operated secure detention and treatment facility operating under the Balanced
Approach of Restorative Justice principles providing community protection, accountability, and competency development.
The facility
has a total of 30 Beds. 20 Beds are reserved for juveniles placed in Detention. The Detention Center serves over 20,000 youth in the
surrounding counties of Bonneville, Bingham, and Butte.
Ten of our beds are for Treatment. 3-B contracts with the Idaho Department
of Juvenile Corrections in providing residential treatment for male juvenile offenders committed to the custody of Idaho Department
of Juvenile Corrections. 3-B also provides residential treatment to County level juvenile offenders who are on probation.
3-B Detention
& Treatment Center uses CBT, DBT, Matrix, and Family Therapy as the foundation for treatment in the facility.
